Tips For High Capacity Music Festivals!
- Be mindful of things in your pockets. People come to music festivals just to pickpocket so wear zip shorts or keep your device secured in a fanny pack
- -If it is packed and everyone is swaying go with the flow never panic and try to push out if you don’t feel the air raise your arms up! If to hot wet a cooling towel or use a fan it will cool your body down and relieve stress!
- If you want to get a good spot stage at the same stage 2-3 hours before the artist performs p will be moving out and around to go see other people.
- Take care of yourself. Get good sleep the nights in between, drink lots of water, and eat. If you’re really in the pits it will be very physically taxing
- -Don’t take anything from randoms. Drugs, alc, even water. Lots of bad things will inevitably get passed around. If someone is passionate about you trying something and you don’t know them to ignore it!
- Stage plan once set times to drop and figure out what artists you’re seeing and when. With a festival of this magnitude, you most likely won’t get to see everyone you want to keep that in mind.
- Check your body between sets and make sure you have your phone, I.D, card, and cash your most important items. Those pickpockets will sneak up on you
- Have a dedicated meeting spot with your friends if you get lost there is barely phone service at these festivals it is hard to get in contact.
- Get a map of the venue and locate all the free water and first aid stations.
- Look out for each other. If someone is hurt, help them, if you see something sketchy, tell someone. Everyone just wants to have a good time and lending help where it’s needed can go a lot farther than you may realize
